Welcome to my fundraising page. This cause is incredibly personal to me because my son Dani was diagnosed with retinoblastoma, a rare eye cancer that affects young children. As a parent, hearing the word cancer connected to your baby is something no family is ever prepared for. Our journey has been filled with fear, strength, hope, and the incredible support of the team at Cook Children’s Medical Center.

Because of the care, research, and dedication of doctors and specialists, children like Dani have a fighting chance. But many families are still beginning this difficult journey every day.

That’s why I’m joining The Blast Walk. The Blast raises funds for pediatric cancer research, treatment, and care so kids battling cancer—and their families—know they are not alone.

Every donation, big or small, helps support lifesaving research and care for children like my son and so many others.

Please consider making a gift to help me reach my goal, or join our team and walk with us on Saturday, March 28 as we come together to #BlastAwayCancer and show these brave kids they never walk alone.

Thank you for supporting Dani and every child fighting cancer.

About The Blast and Cook Children’s: The Blast will launch from Panther Island Pavilion in Fort Worth on Saturday, March 28, 2026. This community walk event celebrates and remembers children affected by cancer and their families. Funds raised through The Blast directly benefit research, treatment and care for all cancers at Cook Children’s, a leading institution in the fight against childhood cancer. It’s your turn to sign up, donate, and show up, to tell Cook Children’s patients and their families that they’ll never walk alone.
