At 11 years old on 8/9/2023 I was diagnosed with a blood cancer called B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Since the date of my diagnosis I have not stopped fighting for my cure. I have gone through several hardships in my cancer journey that has affected me physically, mentally and spiritually. With the help of God and my family and Cook Children’s Medical Center a little every day I am that much closer in reaching my end of treatment day. My cancer and other pediatric cancers still need answers as to why this even happens to children like me. That is why I am fundraising for The Blast – a 5k walk that brings out-of-this-world care close to home for kids battling cancer at Cook Children’s just like me!
