Kooper is turning 3! 

We wanted to continue the tradition of giving back to Cook Children’s each year in honor of all their care and support! 

Recently Kooper was diagnosed with CCHS, congenital central hypoventilation syndrome. This changed his life in a big way, he is now on a ventilator when sleeping and under close supervision for other major health risks. He is also getting prepared to have an autotransplant of his left kidney in hopes to finally put his kidney troubles to rest. 

With all his strides and also set backs, Cook Children's has given our family so much love and support through doctors, nurses, staff, Ronald McDonald and even Maria, the picu custodian who cleaned everyday and prayed over Kooper.  Every person comes to work with the children in the front of the hearts and minds. We couldn’t be more thankful to be apart of the Cook Children's family. 

This year we want to dedicate this fundraiser to the Pediatric surgery department. This department has been a HUGE part of Kooper’s story and we want to help continue their great work.
