Thankful for Cook

Hi, My name is Emma Myers, and I am a third grade student at The Academy of the Arts at Bransom Elementary in Burleson, Texas.

I am participating in the BISD Gifted and Talented Student Empowerment Fair this year.

TAG’s focus this year has been on “patterns of change”. Through the student empowerment fair, students are becoming “agents of change”and impacting the lives of others.

For my project, I have chosen to support Cook Children’s. I was born with a congenital heart defect, and Cook Children's was so awesome to me when I was born, that I want to give back.

I will be doing some research on this subject, as well as attempting to raise funds for the hospital. I have set a donation goal of $1,000.

I would really appreciate any amount you could contribute.

At the end of my project, I will be creating a display board for the showcase, documenting my research and your kind donations. The empowerment fair will take place on April 28, 2022..

Thank you so much!
